Indications#

Indication can be used to supervise state of contact in DI module, display a state controlled by IEC program and display value controlled manually.

Point info#

  • Pointname: Unique name for the point inside the FX-controller. Any other point cannot have the same name.

  • Description: Used to describe the point.

Point levels#

Point levels are part of user rights management. Value is minimum user level to be view, set or program the point. If user level is under the value, they are not able to see, set or edit the point.

Local connection info#

  • Module: Physical modules modbus address.

  • Port: Physical modules port.

  • Point: Point number of the physical connection in module.

Global point#

With global point it is possible to read a points value from other FX-controller.

  • Controller: The name of FX-Controller the data is read from.

  • Pointname: The point name of point in the other FX-Controller the date is read from.

Point details#

  • Statetext: Select state text -group for displaying point state in text mode, instead of number value.

  • Start delay [sec]: Time it takes for point to go on after request. NOTE! Manual-lockstate overrides the delay.

  • Stop delay [sec]: Time it takes for point to go off after request. NOTE! Manual-lockstate overrides the delay.

  • Tristate: While selected for physical point, it reserves two consecutive physical points from DI module.

    NOTE! Both points must be on same physical module!

  • Normally closed: Option to reverse the input(s).
    • Unchecked: input reads ON-state when loop is closed.

    • Checked: input reads ON-state when loop is open.

  • Picture: Select a process picture that will be opened when clicking graphics symbol on point settings of this point. Allows the navigation from point to graphics page.
